Its that time of the week folks. And what a special day for it fall on. March the 1st. I'm coming to you today from the abyss of the house that it mine, wearing my favorite pair of blue polka dot heals with red trim that I never get to wear. College kids are cramming for their Friday classes while pregaming to Rhi Rhi. Adults are out on the town relishing in the fact that tomorrow is the last day of work for the week. Old people are in bed because its past 9. Children are in bed, giddy about their spelling tests and the fact that its Friday and they have a play date after school. I, am blogging in my high heels. Thursday has just as much clout as the weekend in my very humble and always taken seriously opinion. Its the first socially acceptable night to drink besides the weekend. But lets also be honest with the fact that the older you get, the more days are added to that "socially acceptable drinking days" list. By 30, the whole week falls into that category. For me, being the responsible under-ager that I am, have made Thirsty Thursday into a music day. Every Thursday, I will bring you my music obsession of the day or week or month. SO many artists are going unseen and I am determined to bring them some press. That being said, some throwbacks, mainstream and classics will also be brought into the mix from time to time. So get ready my thristy followers all over the world, today I bring you greatness.
My favorite band at the moment just released their album in the US last week and it has been on repeat ever since. Rarely do I purchase whole albums, but I couldn't resist with these guys. Kassidy is a band of four guys from Glasgow and if the music doesn't get you, their accents will. Here is my favorite tune from their album Hope St. "Oh My God"
